Job Summary

The Tank Museum is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Membership and Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our development department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the charitable objectives of the museum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the museum's membership schemes, including Friends, Patreon, and YouTube Membership, to increase retention and recruitment.
  • Identify and pursue corporate sponsorship opportunities to support the museum's online activity and manage existing key strategic partnerships.
  • Manage fundraising projects, including vehicle conservation and restoration projects, to ensure targets are met and our communities of supporters are engaged and appreciated.
  • Identify opportunities for small-scale fundraising projects, such as supporting capital expenditures through public donations.
  • Develop and implement e-bay auctions, raffles, and other fundraising events to support museum objectives.
  • Establish and maintain administration systems, including a new CRM system, to support existing fundraising activity and future growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in membership and fundraising, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal colleagues, donors, and supporters.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of fundraising best practices and industry trends, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
