About the Role:

Supply Desk is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Drama Teacher to join our team at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' Secondary School in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in KS3, KS4, and KS5, inspiring them to develop a love of drama and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in drama, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and implement schemes of work that meet the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement whole-school drama initiatives and projects.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's drama curriculum and ensure that it is aligned with national standards and expectations.

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and expertise in drama, with a passion for teaching and inspiring students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
  • Current DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
