Job Title: Graduate Project Engineer

MCS Group is proud to be working with a highly reputable engineering company to recruit a Graduate Project Engineer to join their growing team based in Derry/Londonderry.

As a project engineer, you will be required to plan, resource, and manage all project delivery with the support of the wider team.

You will work closely with the commercial team, design team, engineers, and supply chain to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing suppliers for materials and engineering specifications
  • Help with purchases for subcontractors to ensure compliance
  • Visit premises to coordinate and review production
  • Organize and assist with site preparation activities, including site surveys, H&S, haulage requirements, lifting equipment, documentation, labor resourcing, testing, commissioning, and client handover

Requirements:

  • 1 year's placement experience in a similar environment/position
  • A full current driving license and access to a car
  • Hold or expect to gain a honors degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Bio-medical, Chemical)
