Job Summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at King's Mill Hospital. Our ward provides a dynamic environment that ensures a diverse and rewarding experience for our patients and staff.

Main Duties
  • To provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families
  • To work collaboratively with the medical team and ward-based multidisciplinary staff to deliver patient-centered care
  • To maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
  • To communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues

Person Specification
  • Demonstrate good communication skills and understanding of basic requirements for individual patient care
  • Recognise people's right to privacy and dignity, treating every person with respect
  • NVQ 3 in care or willingness to work towards
  • Care Certificate or commitment to achieving within 2 weeks of commencement
Contractual Requirements
  • Flexible approach
  • Able to work flexibly on a varied shift pattern according to the roster including nights and weekends
