In the role of Director of Procurement Excellence, you will assume full responsibility for the procurement excellence division. Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, execute, and sustain procurement frameworks, systems, and policies to guarantee adherence to best practices and compliance throughout the organization.
  • Oversee and mentor a global team, offering guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development.
  • Create and implement procurement training programs to elevate the skills and expertise of the global procurement team.
  • Assess and analyze procurement performance, pinpointing areas for enhancement and enacting necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to synchronize procurement strategies with overarching business goals.
  • Ensure robust risk management and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Encourage innovation and ongoing improvement within the procurement division.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior procurement excellence position, with comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes, principles, and practices.
  • Proven track record in a leadership capacity, ideally with experience in direct management.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with prior experience engaging with C-level executives. Professional fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other European languages is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Readiness to travel frequently across Europe.
