Job Title: Commercial Contract Legal Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contract Legal Advisor to join our legal team in London. As an Interim Legal Counsel, you will provide legal support and have responsibility for a wide variety of commercial legal matters relating to Flutter International.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-class legal advice on commercial and contractual issues
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and documents
  • Review and update website terms and conditions for various brands and territories
  • Facilitate the completion of all stages of commercial agreements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal business personnel
  • Work closely with product and finance teams to provide legal direction and advice
  • Contribute to the review and improvement of processes and precedents
  • Assist with the application of affiliate licenses in territories where licenses are required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Lawyer in England and Wales
  • Around 1-4 years' PQE, with experience gained in a regulated environment, online media company, or private practice
  • Proven commercial drafting, review, and negotiation expertise
  • Excellent technical legal writing skills and a commercial mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to advise about and lead projects
  • High levels of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously
  • Proactive approach to recognizing needs, anticipating issues, and solving problems
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented attitude
