The Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:

  • Take ownership of your own portfolio with support from your manager
  • Support in delivering revenue and profitability targets
  • Develop enduring client relationships

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Produce complex annual statutory accounts for clients while offering advice on best practice and recommendations for partner review
  • Provide support to clients from an accounting perspective
  • Work with junior team members as a mentor to answer day-to-day queries and guide their journey
  • Support and mentor junior members of staff
  • Maintain high levels of communication with staff, line manager, and clients
  • Complete your own chargeable time budget
  • Work towards delivering expected utilisation % budgets
  • Carefully narrate your timesheet, capturing accurate analysis of work undertaken
  • Ensure all hours worked are recorded on your timesheet
  • Start the fee process

What We're Looking For

  • ACA/ACCA/CA newly qualified (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Continued development via mentorship by the senior management team to provide soft skills development such as effective client management and steps towards staff management
