Role Overview:
The Pipefitting Specialist will be responsible for delivering plumbing and building services maintenance across various client properties. This role encompasses troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, and installation tasks, with a strong focus on providing top-tier service quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems, adhering to relevant codes and operational guidelines.
- Address issues such as repairing damaged pipes and clearing blockages, utilizing ladders, scaffolding, and other necessary equipment.
- Monitor plumbing systems and fixtures to identify malfunctions, disassembling components as needed to replace defective parts.
- Evaluate used parts and equipment to ensure compliance with calibration and manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize testing equipment to calibrate systems, ensuring optimal operational performance.
- Maintain complex plumbing infrastructures, including washers, steam cleaning devices, air compressors, hydraulic lifts, drainage systems, and sprinkler systems.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in plumbing and domestic heating.
- Extensive experience in mechanical building services maintenance, including fault diagnosis, repairs, and installations.
- Proven track record in reactive and planned preventative maintenance within commercial environments.
- Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Demonstrated training and competence in managing high-risk mechanical tasks.
- Strong analytical skills to assess situations and develop effective solutions.
