We are seeking a reliable and experienced couple to join our team at Katherine Shields Private Staff Ltd as a Garden Maintenance/Driver. This is a unique opportunity to work in a beautiful home near Stroud, Gloucestershire, caring for a retired couple and their dog.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with day-to-day household organization, including cleaning and laundry
  • Prepare family-style meals and provision/food shopping
  • Participate in general garden maintenance duties, such as mowing, leaf blowing, and splitting logs
  • Walk the dog and provide transportation for airport/station runs
  • Work as a team to ensure the smooth operation of the household
Requirements:
  • Experience in gardening and driving
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Benefits:
  • 1.5 bed cottage provided as staff accommodation
  • Competitive salary negotiable from £70k-£80k gross pa dependent on experience
  • Occasional weekend work may be required, with extra pay or time off given in lieu

Please note that this role is not suitable for pets or dependents. We are interviewing now for a start date in January 2025.
