About the Role:

RVT Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Specialist to join our team in Sheffield. As an Industrial Automation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining market-leading solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop process control systems and instruments
  • Install, commission, and maintain process control systems and instruments
  • Troubleshoot and address issues related to control systems and online telemetry
  • Work with engineering teams in on-site commissioning and optimizing controls
  • Develop and implement control strategies using PLCs, SCADA, and similar control equipment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with PLCs, SCADA, and similar control equipment
  • Basic PLC programming skills
  • Experience with PID and other control strategies
  • Ability to work with engineering teams in on-site commissioning and optimizing controls
  • Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays
  • Current driving license
