About the Role

Key Responsibilities

The Commercial Solutions Architect will serve as the main technical advisor for the sales team. This role is essential in a newly formed team dedicated to providing innovative solutions within the commercial building industry.

In the initial weeks of your role, you will be expected to:

  • Professionally represent the sales team and manage a variety of client inquiries.
  • Create standardized and custom heating schematics for Commercial Heating and Hot Water systems tailored for specifiers, consultants, and Design and Build Contractors.
  • Compile detailed product lists that align with specific solutions, aiding installers and contractors in adhering to legislative requirements in accordance with departmental service level agreements.
Candidate Profile

To be considered for the position of Commercial Solutions Architect, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Preferably educated to HNC level in building services or a higher qualification.
  • Formal training and experience with Computer Aided Design systems, particularly AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities and the ability to apply technical expertise in a commercial environment.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • A solid understanding of the 18th Edition Installation and Wiring Regulations.
  • Proven experience in Mechanical and Electrical building services within commercial properties.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK legislative requirements for new build properties, including Building Regulations, SBEM, Gas Safe, and F-Gas.
  • A collaborative working style, fostering both internal and external relationships to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Familiarity with district heating systems and experience in building services is advantageous.
