The Role:
An exciting opportunity has emerged to take on the position of Finance Transformation Process Lead at British Airways.
In this capacity, you will assist in the comprehensive design process of our Finance Process strategy, collaborating with various stakeholders across British Airways to monitor process performance and foster continuous enhancement.
Responsibilities:
Define and uphold standardized financial processes, consistently evaluating them to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. Establish key performance indicators and metrics to assess process performance, regularly reviewing results to pinpoint areas for improvement. Create and present reports to senior management and governance groups, emphasizing accomplishments, challenges, and suggested enhancements based on internal assessments and external benchmarks. Develop and maintain documentation, manuals, and training resources as necessary. Collaborate with internal and external partners to effectively manage the project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of desired outcomes within approved budgets.Qualifications:
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the finance sector. Proficient in utilizing financial systems and technologies to optimize processes in financial controllership and planning. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical information into clear, concise messages. Strong project management capabilities and comfortable conveying ideas to senior leadership. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at using data insights to drive effective decision-making.Experience:
Familiarity with financial master data structures and reporting. Experience in designing enterprise data management and reporting solutions is essential. Experience supporting a CFO/CTO function on data transformation is advantageous. A qualification in a relevant field, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA would be beneficial.What We Offer:
