About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEND Support Officer to join our team at Wirral Borough Council. As a key member of our SEND service, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of high-quality Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and ensuring the council complies with statutory timescales for assessments and reviews.

About the Candidate

We are looking for an individual with a good understanding of SEND issues and their impact on parents, children, young people, and educational settings. You will have experience working with children or young people with special educational needs and disabilities, and be able to demonstrate your ability to provide comprehensive system support across the SEND service.

  • Collate information to inform the development of high-quality EHCPs

  • Ensure the council complies with statutory timescales for assessments and reviews
