Store Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at the British Heart Foundation. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximise sales revenue through effective merchandising, visual displays, and customer engagement strategies.
- Develop and implement plans to increase customer loyalty and retention.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales assistants to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Work closely with the store manager to achieve business objectives and implement company-wide initiatives.
- Monitor and control store expenses, including inventory management and stock control.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive store culture, promoting diversity and equality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail or a related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyse sales data and implement effective strategies.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
