Job Title: Assistant Director

At Daniel Owen Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in advancing our component repair and overhaul capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Multi-Discipline Coordination: Collaborate with various trades to ensure the smooth completion of production tasks, driving efficiency and productivity.
  2. Technical Support: Provide expert guidance and support for new repair processes, resolving existing production difficulties and ensuring seamless operations.
  3. Best Practices Implementation: Develop and implement best practices across our MRO repair facilities, promoting excellence and consistency.
  4. Additional Duties: Perform other tasks within your capabilities as requested by the company, contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Requirements:
  1. Engineering Experience: Several years of hands-on engineering experience within an aerospace repair facility, with a strong understanding of component repair and overhaul processes.
  2. Component Repair Approvals: Hold appropriate component repair approvals, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Project Management: Proven experience in project management, with strong communication, teamwork, self-initiative, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Quality Assurance: Strong awareness of QA requirements within component repair, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  5. IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and systems.
  6. Organisational and Communication Skills: Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  7. Driving Licence: Full Clean UK Driving Licence, with the ability to travel to various locations as required.
