Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Jobboarddirect. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our client's premises, assets, personnel, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Access control and issuing of passes
  • Receiving deliveries and directing contractors
  • Patrolling the premises and reporting any suspicious activity
  • Attending duty shifts in full uniform and displaying SIA license identification
  • Completing duty handovers and receiving briefings on site issues
  • Signing in and out procedures and booking on and off
  • Managing access to the site and ensuring access control procedures are adhered to
  • Recording incidents and completing relevant logs

Requirements

  • Computer literacy and technical awareness
  • Experience in the security industry, especially with Alarm and BSM systems
  • Current valid SIA license
  • Ability to drive and have access to a vehicle (preferable)
  • Living close to the Guildford area (20 miles maximum)
  • High standard of customer service skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in the UK with a 5-year verifiable work history
  • Security experience in a corporate, Critical National Infrastructure, Police, or Military environment
