About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Modeller/Hydrology Consultant to join our team at Aldwych Consulting. As a key member of our consulting team, you will have the opportunity to develop your career in the water/environment sector and work on a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement hydraulic models from survey and check third-party models for suitability
  • Undertake hydrological analysis for model inputs using WINFAP/ReFH or other methods
  • Write clear, concise, and technically accurate modelling reports
  • Translate complex modelling outputs to easily accessible and understandable information to support clients' desired outcomes
Requirements
  • Minimum degree(s) in Geography, Environmental Management, or Engineering
  • Good technical background with 4 years upwards of UK-based industry experience
  • Significant experience in several UK-recognised flood modelling packages, such as Flood Modeller, ESTRY, and TUFLOW
  • Familiarity with 1D and 2D modelling methods and their application to a range of studies from minor development to major infrastructure
