Role Overview

This position presents an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant, or one in the final stages of qualification, to transition into a commercially focused role. The successful candidate will collaborate with various non-financial stakeholders throughout the organization, contributing significantly to cost management and profit enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting and analyzing variance assessments on cash flow and management accounts
  • Partnering with departmental leaders to manage and reduce expenditures
  • Evaluating business performance and communicating insights to management
  • Preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Developing financial models as necessary
  • Managing bonus and commission structures
  • Overseeing fixed assets and balance sheet activities
  • Generating monthly management accounts for a designated division

Candidate Profile

  • Proven accounting experience with strong commercial acumen
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or nearing completion
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, particularly in financial modeling
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge and influence

Compensation Package

Offering a salary range of £45,000 - £50,000, along with 25 days of holiday, a modern working environment, and opportunities for professional development.
