Role Overview
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with Senior Leaders and their teams to provide exceptional leadership across all strategic people-related initiatives, facilitating the achievement of business objectives and fostering a positive organizational culture. You will also oversee other HR Business Partners and spearhead company-wide people initiatives as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement / Strategic Planning
- Utilize strong relationship-building and coaching abilities to enhance the effectiveness of designated Senior Leaders and their teams, ensuring a culture of high performance is established.
- As a vital member of the HR Leadership Team, partner with the HR Director to shape the overarching people strategy and ensure the consistent execution of organization-wide initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of organizational design and change initiatives within designated business areas, collaborating with senior leaders to refine operational models.
- Identify and address current and future workforce capabilities and requirements, developing actionable plans to meet these needs.
- Drive the succession planning and development strategies for senior leadership roles to maintain a robust pipeline of talent.
- Enhance employee engagement and experience through strategic people activities, cultural initiatives, and effective communication.
- Analyze key people trends and insights to drive improvements across all relevant metrics.
- Manage sensitive employee relations cases and related matters as required.
- Collaborate with various HR specialists and key stakeholders to deliver on all initiatives.
Leadership and People Development
- Inspire and develop a team of HR Business Partners.
- Exemplify company values and behaviors, enhancing the employer brand and reputation of the HR function.
- Provide support and coaching to designated Senior Leaders.
- Lead organization-wide people projects and initiatives as necessary.
Financial Management
- Assist in the development and oversight of the overall HR budget and strategic plan.
- Manage budget responsibilities for key business areas.
- Oversee spending and expenses related to HR initiatives and projects.
Risk Management and Process Improvement
- Drive consistency and standardization across HR processes.
- Manage key people risks and governance within designated areas while supporting overall organizational compliance.
Provide continuous feedback to senior leaders to enhance the HR function's capability and service delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in multi-site business environments, particularly in fast-paced and dynamic settings.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
- Strong influencing and coaching capabilities, with the ability to engage at senior levels.
- Proven success in building and maintaining effective senior-level relationships.
- Commercially astute with a customer-centric approach.
- Experienced in partnering with Senior Leaders across various strategic HR disciplines.
- Strong background in employee relations and organizational design.
- Proficient in change management and working within matrix organizations.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and resilient.
- Excellent analytical and data management skills.
- Technologically savvy with a strong understanding of HR systems.
- Knowledgeable in employment law and compliance regulations.
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent qualifications/experience.
