About the Role

Brown & Brown (Europe) is seeking a highly skilled Technical Underwriter to join our team in a key senior position. As a Technical Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our underwriting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwriting Quality Assurance: Assist in conducting quality assurance checks, reviewing and updating exception reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Documentation: Ensure that technical documentation is up-to-date, compliant with regulatory requirements, and regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Product Governance: Contribute to the Product Lifecycle and Ongoing Product Governance Process, including FVA for our schemes, and assist in the creation, maintenance, and review of wordings, FAQs, and Product Summaries.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including the Technical team, Underwriting Governance, and Product teams.
  • System Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating the Underwriting System, Technical underwriting guides, endorsements, and referrals from the trading teams.
Requirements

Previous underwriting experience is required to be considered for this role, ideally within the Commercial or Property sectors. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
