Business Lecturer Opportunity

A leading further education provider in Derbyshire is seeking a full-time Business lecturer to join their academic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lectures on Business subjects, focusing primarily on OCR Level 2 & 3 qualifications. Experience/knowledge of T levels is desirable, as the institution will be delivering this from September 2025 onwards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities
• Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and other assessment methods
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the Business curriculum
• Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, progress, and academic performance
• Ensure compliance with the institution's policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements:

• A relevant degree in Business or a related field
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) is highly desirable
• Proven experience in teaching Business subjects, preferably at further education level
• Strong knowledge of OCR Level 2 & 3 Business qualifications
