We are supporting a leading manufacturing business that continues to invest in capital expenditures for plant improvements. There has been significant focus on process enhancements and an increase in automated production lines. To ensure best-in-class maintenance of this facility, they seek a further Multi-Skilled Engineer to work a Monday to Friday, day shift.

The business welcomes applications from engineers with either mechanical or electrical bias as long as they have at least level 3 (or equivalent) electrical qualification. There is a considerable training budget as they seek to continuously upskill the Engineering team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to support an upturn in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Carry out maintenance activities, ensuring that the manufacturing team achieves 100% compliance to the production plan, by minimizing engineering downtime.
  • Carry out engineering work to a good standard, safely, and in a timely manner.
  • Fully engaged in supporting the engineering maintenance strategy to move from a reactive breakdown philosophy to proactive and preventative maintenance.
  • To step-change the performance and efficiency of the existing plant through continuous improvement techniques.
  • Ensure the workshop is kept to a good standard, clean, and tidy.
  • Keep all tools in good serviceable condition and make sure they are fit for purpose.
  • Complete Job reports/tickets each shift.
