We are seeking a skilled Injection Moulding Setter to join our team at Aqumen Recruitment. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our injection moulding processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Monitoring: Continuously monitor production processes to ensure optimum running conditions and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Tooling Changeovers: Efficiently manage tooling changeovers to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Issue Resolution: Promptly address machine-related production and quality issues to ensure minimal disruption to production.
  • Shift Handovers: Provide thorough end-of-shift handovers to maintain continuity and ensure a smooth transition to the next shift.
  • Quality Production: Produce high-quality moulded products and perform regular barrel and screw cleaning to maintain equipment efficiency.
  • Extrusion Line Assistance: Assist in the startup and shutdown of extrusion lines to ensure minimal downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Quality Monitoring: Consistently monitor and maintain product quality in accordance with specifications to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Material Handling: Use fork trucks and manual methods to move raw materials and finished products efficiently.
  • Tool Trials: Conduct tool trials to ensure optimal production and maintain equipment efficiency.
  • Team Support: Assist other moulding setters and operators to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Scrap Minimisation: Strive to keep moulded product scrap to a minimum to reduce waste and maintain productivity.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and tidy workplace, adhering to 5S principles to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Quality Checks: Measure and record quality checks throughout each shift to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Procedure Adherence: Follow and understand operating procedures and setting sheets for moulded products to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Immediate Reporting: Inform the Production Manager of any breaches of work rules immediately to ensure prompt action and minimize disruption to production.
