POSITION SUMMARY

As a Warehouse Operative at NOV, your primary responsibility will be to manage the receipt and dispatch of materials on-site. Your meticulous approach will guarantee that all materials and services are accurately recorded in our digital inventory system. You will be integral to the precise and prompt selection of materials for various projects, aligning with the operational requirements of the organization. Additionally, you will be tasked with packing goods for shipment in accordance with company protocols. This role also offers the opportunity for overtime, enhancing your earning potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate entry of purchased materials and services into the inventory system.
  • Verifying material certifications against purchase orders and applicable standards.
  • Precisely selecting materials for projects, issuing them both physically and electronically.
  • Engaging in daily inventory counts and reporting any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Participating in all relevant stocktaking activities.
  • Assisting in the packing and preparation of materials for shipment.
  • Generating delivery documentation.
  • Carrying out general administrative and housekeeping tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:

Essential:
  • Completion of secondary education (or equivalent).
  • Prior experience in a warehouse role is advantageous, along with transferable skills in inventory management.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable:
  • Experience in a manufacturing warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Forklift certification is preferred; however, training will be provided if necessary.
