Production Planner Job Description

At CV-Library, we're a leading job board with a passion for connecting job seekers with top employers. We're seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team in Kingswinford and ensure seamless planning and coordination of our production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain optimal stock levels for production materials, reducing excess while maintaining productivity.
  2. Develop and oversee operator schedules and fabrication activities, including outsourcing when necessary. Communicate with internal customers to agree on installation dates and ensure timely delivery.
  3. Monitor and measure KPIs such as utilization, delivery performance, waste, and process improvements to maximize workflow efficiency.
  4. Prepare production documents, cutting sheets, and build requirements based on supplied drawings, including calculating glass sizes.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar planning role, working with external suppliers and internal planning functions.
  2. Experience with KPI data capture and analysis is essential.
  3. Ability to understand technical drawings and work with fabrication software.
