Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team. As a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal, you will be responsible for dealing with all aspects of the residential conveyancing process on behalf of our clients, mortgage lenders, who have repossessed residential properties due to mortgage arrears or another breach.

You will be responsible for preparing memos of sales and auction packs, reviewing residential titles on instruction from Client and providing Reports on title. You will also be liaising with clients and solicitors in an efficient and professional manner, preparing, reviewing and issuing sales contracts and supporting documents.

You will be required to answer client queries, providing status advice and keeping all parties informed on progress of sale. You will also be liaising with asset managers to provide a smooth transaction, dealing with exchange of Contracts in a timely manner and dealing with post sales matters including distribution of surplus funds as and where applicable.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the Scottish conveyancing process. You will have a minimum of 5 GCSE's including a minimum C grade in English and Maths, and experience of working in a legal environment.
