Your new position
We are seeking a Software Developer to enhance our internal team of engineers. This position will assist the current team in creating new applications and improving existing software solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the DFS Technology Department as we aim to transform the DFS Technology systems. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in delivering information by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop top-tier solutions that support the future expansion of the business.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborating within a team of software developers Assisting in the specification, development, and testing of new applications Enhancing and maintaining current software Engaging with end users (stores, factories & Head Office) to ensure their needs are fulfilled Creating user and technical documentation Following coding standards Contributing to application improvement strategies.This role is ideal for you if...
You have experience in design and programming across various platforms and environments, including AIX and Windows operating systems You possess excellent communication abilities You have persuasive skills and can challenge and influence effectively Familiarity with REACT, C#, HTML, IIS, and Microsoft Visual Basic / .NET is advantageous Experience in mentoring junior team members is a plusAbout DFS
