Are you a dedicated nurse seeking a fulfilling career with improved work-life balance?

As a Nurse Assessor, you will conduct comprehensive, holistic evaluations for individuals with diverse physical and/or mental health challenges who are applying for the PIP benefit scheme. No prior experience in this specific role is necessary, as thorough training will be provided.

Starting Salary: £38,500 - £41,500 + 5% retention bonus, increasing to 10% quality & retention bonus (for part-time roles, this may vary)

OTE: £45,650

Key Requirements:
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN), Registered Mental Nurse (RMN), or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RLD)
  • A minimum of 12 months of clinical experience post-registration.
  • Full registration with NMC/HCPC, with no restrictions on your pin.
  • Ability to work independently and proficient in IT.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Engaging with individuals who have a wide range of health conditions, including physical, sensory, mental health, and cognitive challenges to perform a holistic assessment.
  • Utilizing your clinical expertise to evaluate various daily living activities and conduct physical assessments when necessary to gauge the severity of their conditions and identify limitations.
  • Interpreting medical documentation and compiling your findings into a detailed report to assist in the decision-making process.
