This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project as an IT Specialist using SAP S/4HANA in the Supply Chain domain.
The IT Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for go-live and support of the OpCore and Sales applications, evolving the application support through go-live and early life support phases.
The role requires working with several stakeholder groups, including International and National IT teams, 3rd parties and business teams. It also requires pro-active monitoring and analysis, along with incident and problem management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for SAP applications in the Supply Chain domain
- Be responsible for prioritising and resolving issues based upon business impact and urgency
- Plan and prioritise problem analysis, mitigation and resolution
- Liaise with IT and International IT (IIT) departments as well as wider business teams, ensuring timely resolution of reported issues
- Develop training materials and other support documentation
- Assist with testing of new procedures and applications
- Maintain an understanding of user requirements and open issues for the area of responsibility, actioning change requests where appropriate
- Manage and implement scheduled software updates and planned changes to supported solutions
- Provide visibility of future application versions and functionality, which may impact the business
- Ensure policy compliance within area of responsibility
We're looking for someone who:
- Can work independently, upon their own initiative and at a fast pace
- Is able to take significant responsibility with a pragmatic, goal-oriented approach
- Is self-motivated, adaptable, and has the ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels
- Has excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Can plan a few months ahead, including contingency planning
- Has experience of Stakeholder Management and communication (internal & external)
- Has experience of explaining complex issues in rudimentary terms
- Has experience of Supply Chain systems
- Has experience of working with SAP
- Has experience of working within a technical support role
- Has experience of Service go-live and on-boarding new Services
- Has ITIL Service Management experience
