Adecco is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our client's team in a leading manufacturing company. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machines to ensure the smooth running of production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up machines according to specifications, ensuring proper adjustment of controls and settings.
- Operate machines, monitor their performance, and make necessary adjustments as required.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments to the machine settings.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimise production efficiency and minimise downtime.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Knowledge of machine operation and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.
- Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
