Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: Dewsbury, West Yorkshire

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:15 - 16:00

Salary: £90 - £130 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team at Connex Education to work in secondary schools across Dewsbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience and support young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Provide support to pupils where necessary.
  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Confidence in supervising students and delivering lesson materials.
  • Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
