About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher to join our healthcare department on a casual basis for maternity cover. As a teacher in this role, you will be responsible for preparing, delivering, and assessing our Level 3 Health and Social Care Study Programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality lesson plans and teaching resources
  • Induct, motivate, coach, and guide students through their learning journey
  • Mark and assess student work, and hold regular reviews to help them progress
  • Work collaboratively with the Access course team and support the curriculum leader to maintain learner punctuality, attendance, retention, achievement, and success
  • Have experience and knowledge of quality processes and procedures, including internal moderation for relevant awarding bodies
