SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Primary school in Cirencester. The successful candidate will have experience in behavioural management, nurturing qualities, and patience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a Primary school setting
  • Assist teachers in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective support for pupils
Requirements:
  • Experience working with SEN pupils, preferably in a Primary school setting
  • Strong behavioural management skills and ability to de-escalate conflicts
  • Nurturing and kind approach to supporting pupils with SEN
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment
