Role Overview

ATP Media is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Broadcast Assistant to join our team. As a key support position within the Broadcast Operations Team, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of ATP tournaments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with forward planning of ATP Masters 1000s, ATP 500s, and ATP 250 tournaments, as well as the Next Gen ATP Finals and Nitto ATP Finals.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and production departments to ensure efficient broadcast operations.
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers to book contribution and distribution services via satellite, fibre, BT Tower, and SRT.
  • Log transmission timings, technical reports, and accurate costs for billing.
  • Troubleshoot booking extensions, cancellations, or transmission failures.
  • Provide up-to-date information to broadcasters, including tournament schedules, orders of play, distribution details, and live note updates.
  • Cover the Broadcast Operations team post-tournament with timely responses to rights-holders and day-to-day activities.
  • Occasional international travel may be required to attend tennis tournaments.
Requirements

This role is ideal for someone starting out or looking to gain experience in broadcast bookings and global distribution methods. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and strong IT skills are essential. A clean driving license is recommended, and the ability to obtain necessary visas for international travel is required.
