About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Branding Designer to spearhead the creation of engaging brand experiences and visual identities for our games. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing and mentoring junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with our company's vision and values.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality visual identities, including logos, color palettes, and typography.
  • Take ownership of the design of our game worlds, collaborating closely with all discipline directors to deliver our shared vision.
  • Work alongside art and narrative leadership to design and deliver environments that are in line with the lore and visual goals.
  • Create a clear content production schedule for your team, in conjunction with the production team.
  • Assist the tech team in defining and delivering the tools needed to meet the level and world design needs for the project.
  • Provide line management to the level design team, ensuring regular 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and design team meetings.
Requirements
  • Highly experienced in branding and visual identity design with at least one shipped high-profile title.
  • A passionate gamer, preferably with a love for open-world and online games.
  • An experienced lead who ensures design workload is delivered on time and to quality.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering high-quality visual identities in previous work.
  • A team member who can develop productive, lasting relationships across all disciplines.
  • Motivated, flexible, and approachable; champions quality across the team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
