As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher with the delivery of lessons and contributing to the development and success of our students.
Your Key Responsibilities- Support the classroom teacher with lesson delivery, both inside and outside the classroom
- Assist with the development and implementation of specialist intervention programmes to raise attainment
- Provide 1:1 guided reading and targeted interventions with pupils who require additional support
- Contribute to creating an environment that excites, challenges, and engages children
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (ideal but not essential)
- Experience of working with children within the last 2 years
- Ability to work with children in small groups or 1:1 settings
- Mature and professional attitude towards work
- Excellent communication skills
