Job Summary

H&G Recruitment Solutions is seeking experienced Class 1 HGV drivers to join our team. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle, transporting goods to national and regional distribution centers
  • Meet delivery deadlines and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including those related to road safety and traffic management
  • Use GPS navigation systems and maps to optimize routes and reduce delivery times
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and members of the logistics team to achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • HGV C+E Class 1 license
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant driving experience
  • Valid CPC and Tacho Card
  • Proven experience as an HGV driver, preferably with curtain sider experience
  • Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety
  • Solid understanding of UK road regulations and traffic laws
  • Ability to read and interpret maps and use GPS navigation systems effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
