About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Ethan James. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs for healthcare projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and deliver designs for healthcare projects
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and support staff to deliver a consistent high-quality service for clients
  • Develop and implement designs that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team, including mentoring and training junior engineers
Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer status, or working towards submission, to either CIBSE or IMechE, or equivalent
  • Previous consultancy or contracting experience in M&E Design & Specification, Surveying & Reporting, and Project Management
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment with a focus on holistic working
  • Experience in healthcare projects
