We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our Maternity Trauma and Loss Care Service. As Clinical Psychology Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality psychological interventions and services to women and birthing people experiencing trauma, loss, and phobias related to the perinatal period.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and management to the Maternity Trauma and Loss Care Service team
- Develop and implement psychological interventions and services to support women and birthing people experiencing trauma, loss, and phobias
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and support for service users
- Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives, including quality improvement projects and research
- Provide clinical supervision and training to team members
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based practice and national guidelines
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
- Post-doctoral qualification or training in an evidence-based treatment for trauma
- Experience of working with trauma, loss, and phobias in the perinatal period
- Experience of clinical leadership and management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
