Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Codes and Connections Analyst to join our team at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in the application and interpretation of various industry codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in the application and interpretation of various industry codes and regulations
  • Promote RWE's interests through external forums including industry work-groups and bilateral dealings with external stakeholders
  • Support the process of connections applications and modifications
  • Develop policy and strategy positions in relation to industry codes and wider relevant regulations that protect RWE's interests
  • Provide written consultation responses relating to industry codes
  • Consult with stakeholders and deliver responses from RWE on specific industry change proposals including assessment of the potential impact on RWE
  • Develop and deliver initiatives that help to mitigate the regulatory risks facing the RWE Group
  • Develop specific expertise in the GB energy trading arrangements, connections and network charging
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Sound knowledge of the energy markets in GB or a willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage a varied workload across multiple topics
  • Have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude to a changing and challenging work environment
