Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Nursing Manager at Woodland View Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with a genuine passion for supporting individuals facing mental health challenges in a secure environment. You will collaborate with patients and the Multi-Disciplinary Team, taking on delegated responsibilities for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, ensuring that your clinical practice meets high standards of quality.
This role will also involve assisting the Senior Nursing Manager in overseeing the nursing team and providing clinical leadership.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude towards enhancing the care experience for service users. A commitment to engaging in training opportunities to expand your knowledge and evidence of professional development will be essential.
Additional Information:
Work Hours: 37 hours per week with a flexible approach to shift patterns.

Important Note:
From 1 April 2024, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change employees in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will decrease from 37.5 to 37 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without any loss of earnings.
NHS Ayrshire and Arran is committed to implementing this change, although there may be instances where full transition takes longer. If the department cannot safely accommodate the reduced hours from 1st April, you may be required to work 37.5 hours per week (pro rata for part-time staff) until the department can meet the requirements without compromising patient safety. You will be compensated accordingly.
