About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Meallmore's Leven Beach Care Home. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our care home, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain the bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas of the care home
  • Empty waste bins and dispose of waste accordingly
  • Restock and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Assist with laundry and linen duties
  • Participate in deep cleaning tasks and special projects as required
Requirements
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Previous experience in a care home or cleaning environment (desirable)
