Job Title: Procurement Financial Analyst

Description: This position plays a crucial role in delivering financial insights and support for the procurement operations of the organization, ensuring precise financial documentation and reporting. The role requires collaboration across various departments to guarantee that procurement activities are well-planned, authorized, and recorded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly financial closing processes, which include preparing and posting journal entries, reporting results, and reconciling accounts.
  • Facilitate financial performance assessments with the Procurement team, examining purchase price variances and performing trend analyses.
  • Generate monthly performance forecasts and provide reports on financial trends and discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget by collecting financial data and working closely with Procurement for budgetary planning.
  • Work in conjunction with Accounts Payable to ensure a smooth procure-to-pay workflow.
  • Partner with Procurement on initiatives aimed at cash flow enhancement and finance transformation projects.
  • Deliver ad-hoc financial analyses and reports to the Procurement and Supply Chain Finance teams.

About You:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Background in a commercial setting with a solid financial foundation.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic global environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Capacity to work effectively under pressure and resolve issues promptly.
