Job Title: Practice Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Nurse to join our medical practice in Johnstone, Renfrewshire. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent family medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and emergency nursing care to patients, including chronic disease management and cervical screening
• Conduct sexual health and contraception reviews, and provide independent nurse prescribing services where applicable
• Work collaboratively with our GP Partners, Practice Nurse, and admin team to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in the development and implementation of healthcare policies and procedures
• Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• NMC registration and relevant qualifications
• Experience in chronic disease management and cervical screening
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
