Job Description
Key Responsibilities- Manage all costings for construction projects, from initial calculations to final figures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Minimise costs and enhance value for money through effective project management and negotiation.
- Ensure all projects meet legal and quality assurance requirements, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to achieve project goals.
- Present regular reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions to stakeholders.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs, ensuring timely completion.
- Control project resource allocation, maximising productivity and efficiency.
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks, protecting the company's interests.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in the subject.
- Contract negotiation experience, with a proven track record of successful negotiations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software, with a strong understanding of industry-standard tools.
- A thorough understanding of industry legal issues and safety compliance, ensuring a safe working environment.
- A strong understanding of financial management and attention to detail, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- A competitive salary in the range of £58,500 to £71,500 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
