About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MRO Project Manager to join our team at Carbon60 - Eng&Tech. As a key member of our Product Line department, you will be responsible for managing landing gear overhaul events from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage landing gear overhaul events to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery to customers.
  • Collaborate with the Product Line team, Operations, Planning, Billing, and Engineering to ensure complete contract fulfillment and superior customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase profitability for each overhaul event.
  • Coordinate technical requirements with the Engineering team and schedule changes with the Planning team.
  • Provide regular updates on event status to the Account Manager and Customer Support Specialist.
  • Track and report costs compared to budget and implement countermeasures as necessary.
  • Participate in and arrange event status meetings and review margin sheets to ensure profitability.
  • Initiate actions to improve overall profitability and follow up on implementation.
  • Manage post-job event completion reviews and scoring systems.
Requirements
  • Experience in the Aerospace industry is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • Experience working with technical records or airline CAMO/part management processes is ideal.
  • Strong IT skills with Microsoft packages and experience with MRP/ERP data systems (SAP/AMOS, etc.) are required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to analyze figures and financial reviews is necessary.
  • Capacity to read and understand customer contracts/specifications and implement action plans for contract adherence.
