Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled RDKB Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing software solutions for networking devices, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications using C/C++ tailored for networking hardware.
  • Engage with cross-disciplinary teams to facilitate effective communication and integration of network functionalities.
  • Conduct thorough debugging, root cause analysis, and resolution of technical issues.
  • Participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards.
  • Implement static analysis and unit testing to ensure code integrity.
  • Establish continuous integration processes and create necessary scripts.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with WiFi protocols, EasyMesh, and Opensync.
  • Background in developing features for cable gateways, DSL, fiber, or modem technologies.
  • Familiarity with embedded networking products and protocols such as VoIP/SIP, DHCP, FTP/TFTP, and SNMP/TR069.
  • Expertise in networking functionalities including routing, bridging, NAT, IPv6, firewall configurations, QoS, and IPSec VPN.
  • Strong Linux system programming and application development skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the RDKB framework to enhance development and deployment efficiency.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and project management tools such as Jira.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with a requirement to work from the office for part of the week.

Compensation: Competitive and flexible based on experience.
