We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Catering Assistant to join our team at Aspens Services Ltd. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen team in providing excellent food and service to our schools.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes are served to students and staff.
- Work on the tills during service, providing excellent customer service and handling cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and regulations.
- Provide a friendly and polite service to all customers, ensuring a positive experience for students and staff.
- Previous experience in a catering or food service environment is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Food Hygiene level 2 certification is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is essential.
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.44.
- A flexible 18-hour per week schedule, with no late nights and 38 weeks of paid time off per year.
