Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Manager to lead our manufacturing operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely project delivery, collaborating with sales, design, and purchasing functions, and driving cost savings through effective project planning and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project execution from design to installation, coordinating purchasing, manufacturing, and installation teams.
- Develop and implement project plans, forecasts, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Conduct regular production meetings and manage team performance to drive productivity and efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and feedback to ensure team members meet their goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing streams to ensure consistency and quality.
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant discipline, such as engineering or business administration.
- Significant experience in building large-scale capital equipment and leading manufacturing operations teams.
- Proven track record of driving cost savings and improving productivity through effective project planning and risk management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Full UK driving license and ability to travel globally, with occasional UK and overseas visits required.
