About the Role

The Accounts Payable Assistant will play a vital role in the Finance Shared Service Centre of Berry Global Inc., a leading global manufacturer of packaging and engineered materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile a high volume of invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Carry out due diligence checks and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and export weekly payment runs, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Audit employee expenses and maintain accurate records.
  • Support the wider Accounts Payable team during peak periods and contribute to the team's success.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the Finance Shared Service Centre.

Requirements

  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and literacy skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience working in an accounts payable department, with a strong understanding of financial procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
